Manipulator/Robotic Arm

Robotic arms or manipulators are programmable robots which function similar to a human arm. Arms can either be articulated with rotational movement or linear without rotational movement.
Manipulators can be autonomous or manually controlled. These devices can be useful in moving heavy objects.



Manipulators are a flexible alternative to traditional robots. There are variety of manipulator types including: balancers, jib crane, hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, etc. They can be used for drum handling, heavy equipment assembly, die handling, casting, forging, machine loading, palletizing, aerospace, etc. They are powerful alternatives for heavy lifting.
